The Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Directive will need to compel on 1 July 2006. The Directive aims to reduce health and environmental risks caused by electrical and electronic equipment. protect human health and the environment by restricting the use of certain hazardous substances, which are: lead (Pb), mercury (Hg), cadmium (Cd), hexavalent chromium (CrVI), polybrominated biphenyls (PBB) and polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE). RiTech has started preparations for RoHS compliance in 2005. We have been working intently with our business partners to meet the necessities & environmental standards. These are the activities that we have preceded.
- Strictly specified our requirements to Supplier's to conform to RoHS directive and having them to confirm goods sold to us do not contain any of the six banned(limited) substances
- Contract Manufacturer shall conduct manufacturing process and inspections before product is deliver to customers on the conformity for RoHS directive
